When you registered with VS to create your volunteer account, you were given the option of receiving emails from VS announcing events, Agencies of note, and other news. If you opted in at the time of registration but now wish to stop receiving these emails, you can opt out. Conversely, if you chose not to receive these emails when you registered but later change your mine, you can opt in.
You will also receive email alerts for new opportunities from any saved-search profiles you create. To change settings for these email notifications, see Changing Search-Profile Email Settings.
To opt in or out of receiving VS emails:
Log in to your volunteer account (see Logging in to Your Volunteer Account for instructions, if needed).
Click the Your Account link at the top of the page.
In the Personal Information section of the Account Manager page, click the Update your personal information link.
In the Preferences section, select Yes (if you wish to receive emails) or No (if you do not) for the question Want to receive current events in your area, community spotlights on local organizations, and general news by email?
Click Okay.
