Another way you can search for opportunities is by using the Volunteer Calendar. This allows you to find opportunities offered on particular days and dates. If your Web browser supports Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds, you can be notified whenever the Volunteer Calendar is updated (see Using RSS for more info.)
To search for opportunities using the Volunteer Calendar:
On the VS page of your local Volunteer Center, click the Calendar link at the top of the page. Note that you do not need to be logged into your volunteer account to view and use the Calendar.
Navigate to the month you would like to look for opportunities in.
Click on the names of opportunities posted on the calendar to read more about them and decide if you would like to follow up on them.
The maximum number of Calendar items that will be displayed is 10. If the limit is reached, a link will appear showing the number of items not displayed.
