To used the advanced search:
On the VS page of your Volunteer Center (if you are not logged into a volunteer account) or your myHome page (if you are), find the search tool at the top (it may be labeled Find a Volunteer Opportunity or something similar).
Click the link to the advanced search tool found underneath the distance drop-down menu. This link may be labeled simply search, as advanced search, or as something else.
Using the text boxes, drop-down menus, and option boxes provided on the Search for an Opportunity page, provide and/or select search terms and settings to direct the search tool to find opportunities closer to your preferences.
Click Go!
